The first link is an article written about the 1991 execution of several Iraqi soldiers by Kurdish forces in what the author believes was a violation of the rules of war because the Iraqi’s were “out of combat.” Definitely not the kind of story we were being fed over here. The site has piqued my curiosity and I’m going to scope around and see what else is there.

The first image is of the Hors de Combat medal given to soldiers who were injured in the line of duty.

It’s a British site (which makes me think this must be a British medal) but they seem to be selling it which is just odd. How can you sell a military medal of honor? Shouldn’t only people who actually earned them get to have them (or people who inherited them from a relative or friend or something)? Very strange.
