DEEM | verb

1 : to come to think or judge : consider
2 : to have an opinion : believe

I deem Donald Trump unfit to be president but unfortunately I’m still going to have to suffer through what will go down in history as the most corrupt, dangerous and destructive presidencies this country has ever known. How can someone who’s so loathsome, so stupid, so lacking of any kind of intellectual curiosity, so inept, so lazy, so narcissistic, so completely racist and misogynistic and absolutely someone who has assaulted women numerous times in his life be our next President? I still can’t quite believe it.

On a less annoying and very unique note, deem is also the last name of an artist, George Deem. His work is really interesting. He recreates classic paintings and then places them within the larger scene of the original piece. I’m not explaining it well, but here is an example:

The Love Letter by Jan Vermeer Van Delft

The Love Letter, Again by George Deem

Isn’t that such a great idea? Take a look at all of his work. What he does is fascinating.
