Mansuetude

mansuetude
\MAN-swih-tood\ | noun

1 : the quality or state of being gentle : meekness, tameness

The first link is for the blog of a person who uses mansuetude as their username. I have to admit I didn’t have the desire to explore (which I’m sure is the reaction when people find themselves here *g*) but if you’re so inclined…

The first picture: a mastiff called Mansuetude Vertical Vision

This is a page for a british “show kennel” of mastiffs and bull terriers that goes by the name mansuetude. Their actual Web site is here. I’ve never been particularly big on dog or cat shows, and mastiffs always seemed like an animal I should always be kind of wary of, probably because of their huge heads and not so bright looking faces. (Go ahead, throw the tomatoes, but their eyes don’t look as together as other dogs, I’m sorry.) Anyway, I’m sure they’re lovely but I wouldn’t want to own one. Give me a good old fashioned mutt any day.
