tawdry
\TAW-dree\ | adjective

1 : cheap and gaudy in appearance or quality; also : ignoble

Second day in a row, the first link is for a band, Tawdry Hepburn. I like them, probably a bit more than Malaise. The clip I listened to seemed like a 60s throwback but that’s good. Again, not left with the overwhelming urge to buy their music or see them in concert but they’re good.

The first picture is from a blog entry discussing how Australian women are most opposed to Charles becoming King, how William would be the best choice.

The caption under the picture reads: “This is of course if we even want a Royal Family.” I think it’s equating flushing tampons down the toilet to flushing the royal family. Whatever, I have to say that I agree that Charles should just stick with his mistress/second wife and let his son be king. Not that William wants it necessarily but he hasn’t proven to be a pig of a man yet.
