With the Passing of Time

False Gods (iconoclast poem)

Images from all sides assail your senses
Cookie cutter beauty, faded carbon copies of original sins, they
Obfuscate truth and honesty, venerate hatred and assimilation
Never doubt your good purpose
Only hold fast to your visions
Climb inside weak minds and show them the way
Listen to detractors but spit venom on their causes
Arm yourself with hammer and sword
Symbols of social oppression, of fear and personal tyranny
Tear them all down
